In 2014, Yelena found herself in that situation when she saw herself in a group photo. It was a wake-up call for her, and she wasn’t even 40 yet, but she sure saw the unforgiving effects of aging. That’s when she said, “screw that, I am not going to age!”. In September 2014, she started her first prep for a fitness competition! In just eight weeks, she completely transformed her body and life and became a role model for her kids.


The biggest lesson she took away from these eight weeks is that If you diet, you may lose weight, but you won't gain muscle, and you will gain all lost body fat and more. If you exercise, you will not change the way you look. Only by marrying fitness and nutrition can you change your body composition and keep your physique for years.
